Meet Some of the LAY’S® Potato Farmers
Established in 1938, LAY'S® potato chips are made from real, farm-grown potatoes. And for nearly 90 years, LAY'S® has partnered with dedicated farmers to grow them with care. LAY'S® proudly works with 100+ North American farms, each with its own unique story.
Below we’ll introduce you to a handful of the farms and farmers behind our iconic yellow bag. Because without our farmers' commitment to growing the very best potatoes, there’d be no LAY'S®.

Growing the Next Generation
Over the next two years, LAY'S® and its parent company’s foundation are planning to invest more than $1 million in the United States to help the next generation of farmers. The multi-year investment will support the next generation of U.S. farmers, ranchers and agricultural leaders via multiple initiatives to help pave the path for a strong and innovative future for American agriculture.
